Alicia de la Vega, LCSW
Alicia has been practicing therapy for 8 years, and feels she is in her true calling. Prior to opening her own practice, she worked treating Veterans and their families for 7 years. During her tenure, she worked in various settings including oncology, inpatient medicine and mental health, specialty mental health and lastly as program manger for a specialty mental health clinic. She received specialty training in Integrative Behavioral Couple’s Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Social Skills Training and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for Depression. She earned her master’s degree from ASU downtown and her undergraduate degree in Women and Gender Studies from ASU Tempe. She is a self-identified nerd, and loves attending trainings and workshops to stay current in the latest treatment interventions.
